This very feminine little jewellery box consists of five individual storage compartments, each with its own lift up lid, which join together to form an attractive flower shaped box. The storage compartments are scalloped from pieces of solid walnut, which are then lined with leather. The holly lids are cleverly shaped to include an integral pivot hinge, which is jointed into the central boss of the box.
I have made many of these attractive boxes, each one using different combinations of wood and leather.
