This bespoke games table was developed for a private client to match a set of Gracie dining chairs previously made for them. The requirement for a Backgammon and Chess table reversible table top element was a fascinating piece on which to work, with the gaming face made from ebony and ripple sycamore that is astounding when polished
The table top itself is made of Burr Oak, a material that has mesmerising details to be discovered. While the legs, made of walnut, are a piece of art within themselves - so much so that they have been developed further with a glass topped table version to emphasise their magnificence.
