An extending dining table, sideboard and dining chairs available to be remade to customer specifications and sizes. The starting point for this design was to create a dining table that could seat 10 – 14 guests with matching chairs and a sideboard that complimented the interior of the dining room. The selected design was made in rich, warm American walnut, using a combination of solid timber for the structural parts and veneers for the decorative and inlaid tops. The inside of the cabinet is divided into upper storage areas with shelves and a lower section to keep the extension leaves for the table. The drawers are made using hand-cut dovetails and have fitted divisions for cutlery and other dining utensils. All of the pieces are finished in a semi-gloss lacquer to give good protection and bring out the full richness of the American walnut.
