Chest of drawers that has a walnut outer skin that has been sculptured to represent the distortion and movement of wood, the walnut skin 'peels' away to form the handles for the seven drawers and also reveals the maple 'core'. The drawers are made from oak with walnut drawer slips and cedar bottoms, the back is also cedar. A very tactile piece that needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
