Awarded a Bespoke Guildmark by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers, this chair was designed to stand in the picture window of a contemporary apartment overlooking the River Thames. Fusing together a range of distinctive materials and unique features, the design of this chair was inspired by my client’s passion for Sailing and Jazz Music. The chair back consists of 70 metres of stainless steel wire wound round turned oak top and bottom sections, tensioned by vertical stainless steel rods.
