The River Series jewellery box i veneered inside and out with masur birch and fitted with a tray in walnut. the proportions of this box are unusual, but lend themselves to the asymmetric curving ebony inlay on the top, which was an unexpected surprise to me.
As with all my inlaid boxes, each version is unique, although the proportions and principle of the pattern remain constants in the design.
Masur birch and macassar ebony, lined with faux suede.
