This dressing table was designed as one of several pieces for a client’s bedroom.
The brief was for the pieces to be designed to complement one another while have an eclectic feel.
The curved signature created for the other pieces was carried through into the dressing table giving it a delicate, personal feel, with the intersecting ellipses that define the shape of the top accentuated by the Burr Walnut veneers that fan out across it.
The Walnut also runs over the drawer fronts, defining these areas and contrasting them to the frame of the table, itself constructed from Ripple Sycamore.
With drawers lined in chocolate brown suede, and a stool to match, the suite is completed by a pair of turned, solid Walnut standard lamps which provide soft, even lighting when using the adjustable mirror.
