This beautiful dining table and chairs were designed to complement a client’s classical Chinese furniture.
References are made in the design of the table’s double lipping and legs to masterworks of the Ming dynasty. These influences are also subtly expressed in the design of the chairs.
After searching the best woodyards in the country we discovered two magnificent logs of English Walnut of such a size that we were able to make the entire table top from six solid, matching pieces, with the frame and chairs coming from a log complementary in colour and quality.
Designed to complete this suite is a serving table with drawer, and a large cocktail cabinet.
