A classic design that has been made in various timbers and sizes. This picture is of an example in maple showing the shaped sides and fronts that form the handles that run up the sides. The inset top follows the same shaping and is secured with decorative pegs. Traditionally fitted drawers made out of oak with walnut slips and cedar bottoms, and back also made from cedar of Lebanon give that wonderful scent that humans love but moths hate! . Another piece that needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
