One of a series of works where structure and decoration are working together to produce more than the sum of the individual parts.
The powerful structure is dominated by the vertical panels which carry the piece. Stripped of decorative elements, other than careful veneer matching, the body of the piece can stand on its own.
The marquetry, designed by Patternity, is a bold statement, informed by the structure. It is executed in dyed veneers and is hand cut.
The hinges are hand made.
With Drop flap and two side cupboards. Fumed Oak, Oak, Cedar and coloured veneer marquetry.
